Meet our course leader and facilitators for the Internal Consultancy Skills courses:
Daryl Wightman
MA(Cambridge) CPsychol

is Managing Director of Performance Dynamics and our Course Leader. Educated at school in Sussex (Hurstpierpoint College) and at Corpus Christi College, Cambridge University, Daryl has over 25 years experience as a management consultant and has a unique background in both business systems and human behaviour. He joined Andersen Consulting (now Accenture) as an IT Consultant in 1978 and designed, developed and implemented large computerised business systems for clients in insurance and banking in London. Then as an Organisational Psychologist and Managing Consultant in PricewaterhouseCoopers he assisted clients in London and Sydney to introduce leading edge Human Resources practices and initiate and evaluate organisational and culture change to align human performance with business goals. He regularly facilitates business planning and change management initiatives for clients. He has assisted over 100 major organisations in the UK, Australia, New Zealand, Asia, Europe, USA and Canada including American Express (UK Head Office), British Telecom, BP Oil, Barclays Bank, the Commonwealth Secretariat (London), several Lloyd's underwriters and brokers, Jaguar Cars (Coventry), MW Kellogg (London), British Nuclear Fuels, i2 Technologies (Bangalore-India & Beijing-China), London Borough of Tower Hamlets, Radianz (Europe), Royal Bank of Scotland (Edinburgh), Unilever Philippines (Manila), Vodafone UK, Amadeus (France), BOC Gases (USA), Wrigley GmbH (Germany), LCBO (Toronto, Canada), Petkim (Turkey), Pfizer pharmaceuticals (Australia & New Zealand), Bank of New Zealand (Wellington) and the Australian Stock Exchange (Sydney). He is a regular speaker on change management and is one of the authors of "Australian Human Resources Management" (1999). He was awarded a scholarship to Cambridge, holds a double MA in Theoretical Physics and Experimental Psychology from Cambridge University, is a Chartered Psychologist in the British Psychological Society and is also registered in Australia as an Organisational Psychologist.
Kate McLaughlin
BA(Hons) PGCE ACIB
is Training Director of Performance Dynamics and has over 15 years experience in training and business consultancy in financial institutions in London and Sydney. She is a specialist in banking operations and designed and implemented the quality standards and process for the first project in Europe to centralise back office processing in retail banking operations. She designs and implements training and development solutions to support business improvement initiatives and her past clients include HSBC, Schroders, Hill Samuel and Midland Montagu. She holds a BA(Hons) from Southampton University, Post Graduate Certificate in Education (Cambridge) and is an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Financial Services (UK).
Philip Wise
Consulting Engineer

is an Associate Director with Performance Dynamics and has over 18 years experience as Managing Director of an international engineering consultancy. He has worked with clients in over 15 countries including UK, USA, Italy, Russia, France, Spain, Romania, Brazil, Saudi Arabia, Vietnam, India, Indonesia, China, Singapore, New Zealand and Australia. He specialises in designing and implementing sophisticated automated production facilities to suit often unique business environments, workforces and cultures. Phil has an intimate working knowledge of consultancy techniques to build relationships, identify business needs, deal with obstacles, negotiate and influence others and achieve success in challenging environments with conflicting priorities. He has also set up several successful joint ventures in Eastern European countries. His clients include Ford, BHP, Hoover, Email, Southcorp, Schneider, Comalco, Frigidaire, Rheem, Simpson, Chef, Electrolux, ABB, Sunbeam/Victa and Whirlpool.
Natalie Verdon
BA (Psych)
has over 15 years experience as a management consultant. She specialises in change management processes taking a holistic view of business systems, organisational culture and factors that influence bottom-line results. She is co-author of the "International Customer Service Standard" (1999) and is a regular speaker and trainer on customer service and process improvement. Her clients include Pfizer, Westpac, Qantas and Woolworths. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and is a licensed assessor for the International Standards Accreditation Board.
